Where We Started
In 2013 God called Jarred and Megan Etheredge and their then three children into a life of missions. Not knowing where or how they began to earnestly seek the Lords direction together. In February of 2014 they flew to Johannesburg, South Africa to confirm God's calling to join a small local ministry there. Upon returning they shared their call and confirmation to a group of senior adults at their local church. Three of the ladies, who were quite the firecrackers themselves, said "there comes those crazy etheredges!" The name stuck and when Jarred and Megan formed the 501c3 to begin their missions journey they thought no name would fit better. Those Crazy Etheredges was registered as a 501c3 non profit in 2018.
Where we are now
A few years later God once again revealed that He was moving Jarred and Megan out from the city to a very rural area about 4 hours north of Joburg. In 2023 Jarred began clearing a place to build what would become their home and training center. In this transition the Lord opened a door to partner with a missionary who Jarred had worked with previously in India. With the addition of the new India ministry it was no longer just "Those Crazy Etheredges". Just as God had done with Jacob and Abraham and others, in the midst of a great transition, He gave us a new name. In that season TCE Missions (Taking Christ Everywhere) emerged and the work of the Lord through this small mission expanded. Now there are over 25 churches and 2 training facilities in South Africa and India under the banner of TCE Missions with many other works included as well. In addition to our missionary brother in India God has brought along a few U.S. Based partners as well in the form of board members and ministry directors. Though the name and location have changed over the last 10 years the vision God originally gave remains; Be a stone on the path that God is taking people down.
